Basics for Internet of Things

Internet of things refers to the device to the Internet connection. Cars, kitchen appliances, and even heart monitors can be connected through the Internet of things. With the development of things in the next few years, more electronic devices will be connected in the Internet of Things. We have consolidated a few IoT term, its definition and basic uses to help you understands it better,

Internet of things: Enable Internet connection objects using embedded sensors for data collection and exchange of the network.

Internet of things Device: Enable monitoring from a remote location and / or controlled by any independent Internet connection.

Physical layer: Hardware that composes the networking equipment, including sensors and network equipment.

Network layer: Responsible for the physical layer of data collected to a different device.

Application layer: Used to identify protocols and interfaces for mutual communication.

Dashboard: Display information about the Internet of Things to the user and enable them to control them.

Analytics: A software system that analyzes the data generated by the Internet of Things devices. The analysis can be used in a variety of situations, such as predictive maintenance.

Networks: An Internet communication layer that enables an entity to communicate with its device, and allows the device to communicate with each other.

Internet of thing ecosystem: The connection between enterprises, governments and consumers.
